Professional Experience
Jake Rolfson advises clients on a variety of business matters across a range of industries, including entity formation, corporate governance, and contract drafting and negotiation. He advises companies and their leadership on day-to-day legal issues, helping them navigate growth, structure operations, and manage risk.
While his current practice centers on transactional and corporate work, Jake has experience litigating various real estate and construction disputes and has represented clients in various commercial real estate transactions. He started his career as a consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, where he advised clients on corporate tax compliance, equity compensation packages, and mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience with a range of international legal issues, including US and EU data privacy compliance, and cross-border business operations.
Jake earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and an L.L.M. in International and European Business Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid Spain. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University and has spent significant time living in both Spain and Norway.
